Pantone, the global authority on colour and provider of professional colour standards for design industries, has announced the Pantone Fashion Colour Trend Report Spring/Summer 2022 edition for New York Fashion Week (NYFW). This season’s report features the top ten standout colours, as well as current takes on the four core classics we can expect to see.

According to Pantone Color Institute experts, colours for Spring/Summer 2022 New York reflect our aspiration for balance as we move through a changing landscape. Colours that evince the need for comfort, clarity and security, satisfy the urge to stay with the familiar. At the same time, free-spirited optimism, and a feeling of new liberation, are unleashed in dynamic, stand-out shades, quenching the desire for spontaneity, uplift and joy, Pantone said on its website.

The Spring/Summer 2022 NYFW colour palette features diverse and distinctive colours that come together to blend comfort and familiarity with unexpected delight. The colours include Pantone 12-4401 Spun Sugar, Pantone 13-1513 Gossamer Pink, Pantone 18-2042 Innuendo, Pantone 19-4151 Skydiver, Pantone 14-0850 Daffodil, Pantone 16-4118 Glacier Lake, Pantone 18-4728 Harbor Blue, Pantone 18-1019 Coca Mocha, Pantone 18-3324 Dahlia and Pantone 18-1564 Poinciana.
