The full form of FOB is freight on board. FOB is a pricing term used in garment export business. Out of different type of pricing method, FOB is commonly used in apparel business where manufacturers quote the product price in FOB. FOB quote is done in US Dollar or in British Pound or in Euro depending on the destination country and buyers’ office.
In FOB orders it is also considered as full-package orders.
In FOB pricing method, a garment supplier is supposed to take care of all the expenses till the shipment is handed over to the shipping agent and costs included in the FOB pricing.
